How to downgrade your android phone

Upgrading your Android phone is a simple task. If the update doesn’t work for your phone then you will face some serious problems. Out of many, the main problem is your phone slows down. This may be due to many reasons but one strong reason is lack of memory (RAM). At this point you need to downgrade your updated version. To do this follow the steps mentioned in this article carefully.

What you need to downgrade your android phone:

  1. Flashtool version 0.6.9.1.
  2. PC companion
  3. USB wire
  4. And most importantly your Smartphone

Remember to back up your data using backup & restore app. Now the steps to downgrade the android Smartphone:

Step 1: download the Flashtool version 0.6.9.1., if you don’t have one. This is a free software and you can find it by simple Google-ing it or you can go to this link to download it.

Step 2: run the exe file you downloaded. In this case it is Flashtool.exe. Then go to C:/Drive and click on Flashtool. Then go to firmwares and delete everything you find there and exit.

C :/>Flashtool>firmwares

 

Step 3: now download the GB ROM for your Smartphone. This is the firmware you need for your Smartphone and you can download it for free.

Step 4: copy the firmware you installed in before step to the Flashtool firmware folder.

Step 5: now run the Flash tool and click on the file icon on the left side which is flashing and select flasmode. Press OK.

Step 6: mark the box beside Wipe User Data before pressing OK.

Step 7: wait until the process finished. Later it will ask you to connect your phone.

Step 8: connect the Smartphone by following the steps shown in the diagram.
